The Heart Behind Heartwood
Before entering the legal field, I served as a Cryptologic Linguist in the U.S. Air Force—a role that honed my attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and dedication to protecting what matters most.
After graduating from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2004, I explored various roles within the legal field. It soon became apparent that traditional law firms often prioritized billable hours and open-ended cases over achieving meaningful outcomes for clients.

When I’m not guiding clients through their estate planning journey, you may find me in the great outdoors. Seattle is where I call home, alongside my husband, Stephen, and our adventurous dog, Blanca. I look forward to welcoming you to the Heartwood family.
